I have been associated with building services for very long time.

In 1987 I decided to immigrate to  England worked at various architectural firms in London U.K. During this time I formed a company called  Transfer Surface Recovery Limited. In 1991 I got a reward on D.T.I. Smart Award and European Union  Grant and two patents.

 

In 2005 I went back to New Zealand to start on my company Gareth Design and the word is design so just not houses, building services, furniture, lamps.

I contract my services to THC Consultants Limited Noel Hanham and Selkirk Consultants mechanical  Ross Major in Christchurch.  

My task is to find design that has been forgotten and bring back today in the time period 1930 – 1940.  

I try to keep to the time period but from time to time crosses over to 1950- 60.

I have been working on a lamp that has been built in 1975 that been originated from Frank Lloyd  Wright but done by one of his

students, Nils M. Schweizer
